BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Buffalo man is facing charges he stole from a trust fund set up to help pay for a woman's cancer treatments.
36-year-old Scott Huber was arraigned in court Monday afternoon. The Erie County District Attorney's office has charged Huber with second degree grand larceny. Huber allegedly stole over $50,000 from the Mary Tomaselli Benefit Irrevocable Trust, set up to help her pay for cancer treatments.
Huber is an Allstate insurance agent in the city of Buffalo. ?Sources tell News 4 as a friend of Mary Tomaselli, Huber was trustee of the fund.
If convicted, Huber faces a maximum sentence of five to 15 years in jail.
