Chennai, India (AHN Sports) ? Former winner Uma Devi Nagaraj completely dominated defending champion Meenal Thakur in the final of the Hash10-National championships in Chennai last Thursday.
The 46-year-old veteran Uma Devi, who previously won the national ladies billiards event in 2002 and 2008, started strong and never let up in reclaiming the national ladies billiards title in three frames, 75-45, 76-61, 76-34.
Meenal, 32, the billiards and snookers winner in the last two previous nationals, advanced after outlasting the gritty Chitra Magimairaj in the previous round.
Uma Devi, on the other hand, faced little resistance as she outclassed the budding billiards star Keerath Bhandaal in the semis.
