ROCK CREEK, Ore. ? At least four moving vehicles were hit by golf balls near the Rock Creek Country Club Sunday night, in a dangerous case of vandalism.

Police said it could have been much worse ? but thankfully, no one was injured in the passing cars.

Deputies said someone stole a bucket of golf balls from the country club, then drove down 185th Avenue in a small white car, throwing the balls at passing vehicles.

At least four vehicles were damaged and there could be more.

Deputies were hoping the public will help them catch the person or persons responsible. They were asking anyone with information that may help the investigation to call their local police department.
