A man dressed in a distinctive American flag-designed onesie and three balaclava-clad accomplices armed with baseball bats forced their way into a house in Telford, police said today.
Police said a group of men were playing on a games console in Dalby Close, Leegomery, when they heard a breaking glass at the back of the house.
Four intruders threatened them with baseball bats and a metal pole during the incident on Saturday at about 11.45pm, and one man was hit a number of times as the gang searched through rooms upstairs, eventually making off with items including two iPhones.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: ?One of the men was dressed in a distinctive white and blue onesie in the design of the American flag. The other three were wearing dark clothing and balaclavas.?
